Kallpa Restaurante

We had an absolutely amazing meal at Kallpa. The Alpaca steak on a quinoa base was a highlight but everything we had was unique and combined subtle flavors brilliantly. The service was so friendly too. I can’t recommend it highly enough, you need to eat here if you are in the Valley. My only regret is that we weren’t early enough to enjoy the views outside

Best trucha I have EVER had! The fried rice it came with as well as the curry sauce are really special. They blend curry with local Peruvian spices & it’s truly special. Wow. And the service is incredible- warm and inviting atmosphere. I also loved the quesadilla. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

Top-notch food quality, taste, service, and environment. The owners, Ruth and Roger, treat us like friends, not just customers. They are locals who speak perfect English and can tell you exactly where the food comes from and how it’s grown. With over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry before opening this restaurant, they truly know how to make guests feel welcome. When I booked the table, I mentioned it was my mom’s birthday, and they surprised us with flowers. My mom was so happy and touched by their thoughtfulness. We stayed in Peru for 12 days, and this was one of the best meals we had. I felt completely at home here. 10 out of 10!

The Best Dining Experience in Peru – A Must-Try Restaurant I’ve tried several high-end restaurants in Cusco and Lima, but this one is by far my favourite. The quality of the food, the combination of flavours, the ambience, and the service were all at a five-star level. What makes it even more impressive is the price—exceptionally reasonable for the standard offered. The trucha tiradito and alpaca were outstanding—easily Michelin-star quality. I’ve never had quinoa this delicious, and even the homemade gnocchi served alongside the meat were better than many I’ve had in Italy. Every dish exceeded expectations. It was luxury in a warm, family-run setting. If you're in the area, this is an absolute must. They're open for dinner, so be sure to message them in advance to receive the most personal, attentive service imaginable. They also cater for all dietary needs—just ask. So far, this has been my favourite restaurant in Peru. Highly recommended.

The best dinner that I had in my 10 day stay in Peru was at this restaurant. The food is just amazing. We were a party of 6 and we all loved our meals. I suggest trying the langostinos as an appetizer...OMG!!! And the pepper steak with the gnocchi is to die for. The owners Ruth and Roger are wonderful people providing excellent service. Do not leave Urubamba without trying this restaurant.

We had a very memorable lunch. The husband (chef) and wife (front of house) team are very hospitable welcoming guests in the restaurant that is a part of their home. The ambiance is special and chef's food delicious, with unmatched fresh ingredients and flavors. I highly recommend this top-notch restaurant for a special dining experience.

A hidden gem just on the outskirts of Urubamba, within walking distance of the main square. I've eaten here twice, and both times the food and service has been absolutely amazing. 100% recommended

Really amazing food, excellent service and beautiful location. I recommend this 100% and will be back soon. I loved every single dish but my personal favorite was the tiradito de trucha, out of this world. Thank you for this lovely experience.
